What's Left of Me, By: Kat Zhang
Quote: "We tried to form the word in our five-year-old mouth, tasting it on our tongue. Set-Tull-Ling." (pg. 1)
I believe this quote is important to the story because Addie and Eva don't really understand what the word settling means. A five-year-old kids definition of settling is, one of them is supposed to take control and the other fades away. For Addie and Eva it's not like that. Everyone believes that they have settled and Eva has left. But Eva is in there and she isn't leaving.
