Invisibility
By Andrea Cremer and David Levithan.
“What if I am?” he asks.
I fold up the empty grocery bag. “Sorry?”
“What if I am a ghost?” He leans against the counter, watching me. “Would you still want to take a walk with me?”
Invisibility is about how a boy (Stephen) was cursed and was made invisible nobody can see him. Although he thought but when a girl moves into the apartment across the hall that is when it all changed. Her name is Elizabeth and she can see him. They start to get to know each other and Elizabeth asked Stephen if he could show her around the town he was hesitant at first but then she asked him he was a ghost.
I think this important because he is starting to trust her, she is the only person that he can talk because she is the only person that can see him so he knows that she should soon know the truth about him so he is trying to ease into it. I also think that she believes him that he isn't trying to make a joke about being a ghost. She is also starting to know that it is ok to trust him they do end up going for a walk anyway.
