"Oh my god I am so sorry, she writes. Why didn't you tell me?"

I think this quote is important because it is showing that Melinda is stepping out of her comfort zone by telling Rachel why she really called the cops at an end of summer party. Throughout the book, Rachel wasn't being a great friend to Melinda because Melinda called the cops at the party, but when Rachel starts dating this senior, Melinda feels she needs to warn her about him. In this scene, Melinda tells Rachel what happened and she immediately feels sorry for her. I was surprised when Melinda told her this because she was always very shy and kept to herself and now she told her ex-best friend this huge secret.

What I can’t regret is the way I got so free and clear.” pg. 173 This was said in by the main protagonist, Chase Ambrose, in the book Restart, written by Gordon Korman. This quote was him talking about how he got out of trouble. There was trouble in the band room and he accidentally bashed a kid in the head with a fire extinguisher in the midst of a fight. So Chase got out of trouble and regretted that. That’s why I think it’s memorable. In the book, Restart , by Gordon Korman, the main character loses all of his memory after falling off of his roof.Then, Chase becomes a whole different person. This quote talks about how Chase got out of trouble from accidentally bashing a kids on their head with a fire extinguisher. And it bothers him that he got no punishment. I

Christopher Caswell "There's only one me." Chase Ambrose pg. 223 I like this quote because it shows Chase taking credit for the actions of his past self.Chase used to be a bully, trouble maker, and a criminal. But since his fall off his roof, he's changed. He's a nicer person, and he feels guilty about what he did in the past. But he takes responsibility for it. That's why I like this quote. At this Moment in the book he's admitting to the character Mr. Solway that he stole his medal of honor. He also didn't drag his two former friends down with him, even though they tried their best to keep him from returning it.
