“ It was the thing that my life had handed to me, and no matter how heavy it was, I was never going to be able to set it down. But that didn't mean I wasn't going to be okay.”

I chose this quote because I feel like there are going to be things that a rough in life and you're never going to be able to ignore it or get rid of it. However eventually it will get better and you will be okay, and that's how it was for Lina. Lina still had the pain of her mother passing away and that was never going to go away, but she wasn't about to let that always bring her down that's not what her mom would have wanted.

What I can’t regret is the way I got so free and clear.” pg. 173 This was said in by the main protagonist, Chase Ambrose, in the book Restart, written by Gordon Korman. This quote was him talking about how he got out of trouble. There was trouble in the band room and he accidentally bashed a kid in the head with a fire extinguisher in the midst of a fight. So Chase got out of trouble and regretted that. That’s why I think it’s memorable. In the book, Restart , by Gordon Korman, the main character loses all of his memory after falling off of his roof.Then, Chase becomes a whole different person. This quote talks about how Chase got out of trouble from accidentally bashing a kids on their head with a fire extinguisher. And it bothers him that he got no punishment. I

Christopher Caswell "There's only one me." Chase Ambrose pg. 223 I like this quote because it shows Chase taking credit for the actions of his past self.Chase used to be a bully, trouble maker, and a criminal. But since his fall off his roof, he's changed. He's a nicer person, and he feels guilty about what he did in the past. But he takes responsibility for it. That's why I like this quote. At this Moment in the book he's admitting to the character Mr. Solway that he stole his medal of honor. He also didn't drag his two former friends down with him, even though they tried their best to keep him from returning it.
