“In a well- ordered universe.” p.449

This is common dialogue throughout the book. When I saw the dialogue i thought it would be the perfect quote for this assignment. This is because it was a perfect way to describe the book. Emily lost her best friend, during which was supposed to be the greatest summer of their lives. She disappears leaving behind nothing but a list of things for Emily to do. But, “in a well ordered universe,” Sloane, Emily’s best friend, would have never left. They would have had the perfect summer. As it turned out, Emily’s summer ended up into a well ordered universe that she never would have expected. She made new friends and discovered a whole new part of herself, and that was thanks to Sloane. In conclusion, this quote is important because grasps the whole concept of the story into just a few words.

What I can’t regret is the way I got so free and clear.” pg. 173 This was said in by the main protagonist, Chase Ambrose, in the book Restart, written by Gordon Korman. This quote was him talking about how he got out of trouble. There was trouble in the band room and he accidentally bashed a kid in the head with a fire extinguisher in the midst of a fight. So Chase got out of trouble and regretted that. That’s why I think it’s memorable. In the book, Restart , by Gordon Korman, the main character loses all of his memory after falling off of his roof.Then, Chase becomes a whole different person. This quote talks about how Chase got out of trouble from accidentally bashing a kids on their head with a fire extinguisher. And it bothers him that he got no punishment. I

Christopher Caswell "There's only one me." Chase Ambrose pg. 223 I like this quote because it shows Chase taking credit for the actions of his past self.Chase used to be a bully, trouble maker, and a criminal. But since his fall off his roof, he's changed. He's a nicer person, and he feels guilty about what he did in the past. But he takes responsibility for it. That's why I like this quote. At this Moment in the book he's admitting to the character Mr. Solway that he stole his medal of honor. He also didn't drag his two former friends down with him, even though they tried their best to keep him from returning it.
