Reboot By, Amy Tintera

Quote: "What do they care," she spat, throwing the comforter down as she crawled in. "They've killed me." (page 132)

I chose this quote because she is mad that she was killed by the humans and then became a reboot. She also calls her own kind humans for example, "the humans killed me." It is weird because she is practically human, but dead. All she wants is to go back to the living and be with her family. When she says, "what do they care?" she means that the humans don't care what happens to the reboots and kill each other to make hundreds of reboots a day. They are always watching, always listening, and are walking on every spot in the world. When she says "they've killed me," she means that she is just one more reboot to live in the dark place of their own kind. This quote is important because the quote tells you what she thinks about the human race. It is memorable because now she knows that the humans are bad but don't deserve to die and become a reboot.
