Reboot, By Amy Tintera

Quote: I laughed and shrugged my shoulders, "They're all still alive!" 
            "Sort of a low bar you set for yourself, huh?" Beth asked (p. 362)

Probably what caught my attention about the excerpt is that it's the first real joke in this entire book. Almost everything about this book was serious, then suddenly everybody's hilarious. Sort of an interesting change of events. Also, Reboots aren't supposed to show emotion, but this proves that they're not so unhuman after all. I guess getting your freedom makes you a different person.

The quote describes a scene where the elevator is falling for an unknown cause which we later find out is terrorist attacks. What I can’t regret is the way I got so free and clear.” pg. 173 This was said in by the main protagonist, Chase Ambrose, in the book Restart, written by Gordon Korman. This quote was him talking about how he got out of trouble. There was trouble in the band room and he accidentally bashed a kid in the head with a fire extinguisher in the midst of a fight. So Chase got out of trouble and regretted that. That’s why I think it’s memorable. In the book, Restart , by Gordon Korman, the main character loses all of his memory after falling off of his roof.Then, Chase becomes a whole different person. This quote talks about how Chase got out of trouble from accidentally bashing a kids on their head with a fire extinguisher. And it bothers him that he got no punishment. I

Christopher Caswell "There's only one me." Chase Ambrose pg. 223 I like this quote because it shows Chase taking credit for the actions of his past self.Chase used to be a bully, trouble maker, and a criminal. But since his fall off his roof, he's changed. He's a nicer person, and he feels guilty about what he did in the past. But he takes responsibility for it. That's why I like this quote. At this Moment in the book he's admitting to the character Mr. Solway that he stole his medal of honor. He also didn't drag his two former friends down with him, even though they tried their best to keep him from returning it.
