Quote: "Sometimes ignorance isn't bliss. Sometimes it's just dangerous."

These wise words from my protagonist, Amy are important to this scene because the people of New Hope are unaware of the dangers in the outside world. They think that there is no one else alive outside of New Hope, but located in what was Texas, there is Fort Black. A gang from Fort Black attacked New Hope by stopping two emitters giving the Floreas a chance to attack. In which killing 418 citizens. The citizens didn't know what to do because they were so convinced that nothing would hurt them while being in range of the emitters. Ignorance isn't bliss. If only New Hope could learn.

What I can’t regret is the way I got so free and clear.” pg. 173 This was said in by the main protagonist, Chase Ambrose, in the book Restart, written by Gordon Korman. This quote was him talking about how he got out of trouble. There was trouble in the band room and he accidentally bashed a kid in the head with a fire extinguisher in the midst of a fight. So Chase got out of trouble and regretted that. That’s why I think it’s memorable. In the book, Restart , by Gordon Korman, the main character loses all of his memory after falling off of his roof.Then, Chase becomes a whole different person. This quote talks about how Chase got out of trouble from accidentally bashing a kids on their head with a fire extinguisher. And it bothers him that he got no punishment. I

Christopher Caswell "There's only one me." Chase Ambrose pg. 223 I like this quote because it shows Chase taking credit for the actions of his past self.Chase used to be a bully, trouble maker, and a criminal. But since his fall off his roof, he's changed. He's a nicer person, and he feels guilty about what he did in the past. But he takes responsibility for it. That's why I like this quote. At this Moment in the book he's admitting to the character Mr. Solway that he stole his medal of honor. He also didn't drag his two former friends down with him, even though they tried their best to keep him from returning it.
