Prisoner B-3087, By Alan Gratz
Quote: "If I had known what the next six years of my life were going to be like, I would have eaten more. I wouldn't have complained about brushing my teeth, or taking a bath, or going to bed at eight o' clock every night."
This is a significant quote in the book Prisoner B-3087 because it was about when Hitler wanted to kill all the Jews in Europe. This quote in the book is really important and tells a lot about the way the main character feels and he is expressing so much emotion about the way he feels about his life. When I read that quote, I was really surprised why he was putting his life out like that and it made me more interested in finding out why he was so depressed.
