Quote/few sentences: This is one of the secrets I have learned in the past few months. When you care about other people, it takes the spotlight off your own drama.

50+ word paragraph: Those few sentences are important to the book Counting by 7s because Willow the protagonist loses her parents in a car accident. So she now has drama in her life. After the accident Willow talks to the guidance counselor Dell Duke. After a few sessions with Dell Duke, Willow walks in on a session with a girl named Mai and Quang-ha. After Willow walked in on the session Mai and Willow got closer. Mai’s mom Pattie decided to help out Willow and give her a place to stay for a little while until the social workers figure something out. Willow becomes even closer with Mai and her brother Quang-ha so that takes away a little drama about the accident. Then talking with Dell got easier for Willow and Willow moved in with Dell Duke. Willow felt a lot better after. Most of the drama seemed to go away!
