My book I chose this summer was Reboot. The author of the book is Amy Tintera, and the quote I chose for my book was on page 237 on the last section at the bottom of page 237.

My quote or sentence I chose: ‘My brain didn’t want to run but my legs carried me anyway,floating over the dirt and grass faster than a human could keep up with.’’

The reasons I chose this sentence as my quote and why i think it would make a great quote was because, the wording and word choice in the sentence is very good like instead of saying “my legs made me run” or,  “they wouldn’t let me stop” , it said “carried me anyway” which i believe was a very good choice. I also chose this sentence because of the way its written and the way it sounds is amazing its like part of a  poem too not only just a quote.   lastly I think its worthy of being a quote and would make a good quote because, the meaning of it is very deep I think I believe its saying that even when Wren or 178 wanted to quit she kept running for her her fellow reboots that needed to rebel as well and Callum who couldn’t go back to the HARC she kept going and running for her escape, almost like saying no matter what your doing even though it may seem like you are going to fail or you can’t do you should never give up because you can do it.  Those are the reasons i strongly believe that this part in my book would make a great quote.

What I can’t regret is the way I got so free and clear.” pg. 173 This was said in by the main protagonist, Chase Ambrose, in the book Restart, written by Gordon Korman. This quote was him talking about how he got out of trouble. There was trouble in the band room and he accidentally bashed a kid in the head with a fire extinguisher in the midst of a fight. So Chase got out of trouble and regretted that. That’s why I think it’s memorable. In the book, Restart , by Gordon Korman, the main character loses all of his memory after falling off of his roof.Then, Chase becomes a whole different person. This quote talks about how Chase got out of trouble from accidentally bashing a kids on their head with a fire extinguisher. And it bothers him that he got no punishment. I

Christopher Caswell "There's only one me." Chase Ambrose pg. 223 I like this quote because it shows Chase taking credit for the actions of his past self.Chase used to be a bully, trouble maker, and a criminal. But since his fall off his roof, he's changed. He's a nicer person, and he feels guilty about what he did in the past. But he takes responsibility for it. That's why I like this quote. At this Moment in the book he's admitting to the character Mr. Solway that he stole his medal of honor. He also didn't drag his two former friends down with him, even though they tried their best to keep him from returning it.
