Strike Three, You're Dead By, Josh Berk

Quote: "This is a tragedy tonight folks. A young man cut down in the summer of his youth. A brillant young arm with a future as bright as the sun. Dead." (page 74)

I chose this quote because it is a really big breaking point in the book. This is when the pitcher mysteriously dies and the book gets exciting. The mystery plot then begins because the next day a letter is sent saying that there were no drugs or anything harmful involved in the death. It's like he just fell asleep. There was nothing wrong with him. That's when Lenny and his friends must find out how the young star pitcher died.
